Creating a Culture of Kindness and Peace - Teaching Guide
This Teaching Guide has been designed to support teachers, parents, grandparents and caregivers to guide a child through completing a Culture of Kindness and Peace Workbook. And also for giving you way to develop a more kind and peaceful culture, when interacting with children, whether in the classroom or at home. A culture where conflict is resolved in a peaceful way and differences of style are valued.
This Teaching Guide supports you to take a child through the following parts of their workbook:
PART ONE & TWO: Learn what observable behavior is, what makes up a person’s DISC personality style through the four Birds – Eagle, Parrot, Dove and Owl, and what language to use to describe the way you do things.
PART THREE: DISCovering Me & You Creating a Culture of Kindness and Peace will introduce children to other VIRTUES like peacefulness, kindness, forgiveness, empathy, mercy, consideration, integrity and being compassionate. Once children learn how to practice certain behaviors for each of these VIRTUES, they will know when to use them for to create creating a no bullying culture…. because we all know that bullying is NOT okay and it is NOT acceptable.
